What the site is for
The project is designed to serve high-intent utility traffic across global markets. Instead of starting with a giant generic tool dump, it starts with a small set of useful pages and a clean information architecture.
The current release emphasizes image conversion and lightweight text utilities that work well without a heavy backend.
How the product is positioned
English is the default language at the root domain, while Chinese content is separated into /zh/ for a more standard international setup.
Page templates include canonical tags, alternate language references and dedicated legal pages from the start.
Processing model
When a workflow can reasonably run in the browser, Harbor Convert keeps it local to reduce friction and strengthen privacy messaging.
If future tools require server-side processing, those pages should state that clearly and avoid mixing local and remote claims.
